This volume contains an introduction to the peoples studied and research done in Indo-China, including photographs and illustrations. The main part consists of four stories in French: <i>Néang Roum-Say-Sock</i>, <i>Les Douze Jeunes Filles</i>, <i>Vorvong et Saurivong</i>, and <i>Néang-Kakey</i>. These section include black and white and color illustrations. In addition, there are copies of <i>Vorvong et Saurivong</i> in Khmer and <i>Les Douze Jeunes Filles</i> and <i>Néang-Kakey</i> in Khmer, Thai, Lao.
