Feasibility study on groundwater resources development at Doi Tao area involves geology and geomorphology interpretation, groundwater investigation and evaluation. Eventually, groundwater potential in relation to landform is put forward. Thick unconsolidated deposits of Late Tertiary predominate the area and, working bilaterally with topography, have produced many unfertile lands and have caused a variation of groundwater levels. Electrical sounding with pseudo vertical profile is by all means a useful method in locating a dug well or a deep well in such an area. Three categories of groundwater potential are tenatively classified in accord with their coefficients of transmissibility, namely high potential - of more than 10,000 gpd/ft, moderate potential - of 10,000 to 2,000 gpd/ft, and low potential - of less than 2,000 gpd/ft.
