Abstract: The author studies the iconography of one of the most remarkable Khmer sculptures representing Hevarja, found in the 1920s in Banteay Kdei (now kept at the national Museum of Phnom Penh). It appears that this statue conforms better with the art of Baphuôn than with that of Bayon, as stated earlier: it should therefore be dated to the second half of the 11th century.
