Abstract:	The crafting of a new archaeological map forms part of a broader programme on settlement sites and spatial organisation in the Angkor region. This paper presents the available data, the methodology (development of a site typology for the interpretation of aerial photographs, creation of a site database, cartography) and a few examples of taken from both formerly unreported and well-known sites. Conclusions must remain provisional as many sites remain inaccessible.
