Abstract:	The aim of this chapter is to quantitatively assess cranial morphology of the Man Bac assemblage and explore any evidence for biological relationships between Man Bac and surrounding populations dating from prehistoric through to more recent times. An assessment of the morphometric affinities presented here addresses the issue of the origin of this group of neolithic people in northern Vietnam.
