Abstract:	This report discusses research funded by the Granucci Fund in the cave of Gua Payung, located in the southern karstic zone of the Meratus Mountains, southeastern Kalimantan, Indonesia. Gua Payung was investigated for comparison with the early Holocene results from Gua Babi in the northern Meratus Mountains. It provided evidence for a younger occupation than Gua Babi, and the results are described in this report.
