English summary on page 65 as follows: On the basic of analysis of the typical characteristics in the whole collection of bronze artifacts of the Dong Son culture discovered in the west mountainous area of the North Vietnam, the author had distinguished a local variant of the Dong Son culture. That is the mountainous variant of this culture. Moreover, the author separates a variant in the west from mountainous Dongsonian in general, which the author defines as Western Dongsonian. From the analysis of the cultural relationship of the western territory of the Dong Son culture and the west area, outside the Dong Son culture and Thailand, the article presents the similar characteristics in these cultures and supposed that the similarity created by various features in which the ecological conditions, the style of living in community, cultural and technological interraction and not without other social contacts.
