Abstract: English summary on page 47 as follows: After three seasons of investigation in the four provinces of Central Highlands (Tay Nguyen), a lot of archaeological sites from the late Neolithic to historic times were discovered and six sites were excavated: Bien Ho, Tra Dom (Gia Lai Province), Buon Triet, Doi Nghia Trang ( Dak Lak Province), Loc Chau, Cat Tien (Lam Dong Province). Some initial remarks on them: - At the end of the Neolithic and the beginning of the Metal Age, on the Central Highlands formed an achaeological culture: the Bien Ho Culture. - Sa Huynh culture remains existed in Buon Triet, Tra Dom and Bien Ho. - Ruins and ancient burials of Champa culture existed in the north provinces of Central Highlands. - Cat Tien area was aBrahmanist Holy Land, dating nearly from the 8th to 9th centuries. - The ancient burials of the Ma in the South of Tay Nguyen reveal this people hada fairly advanced cultural level and a relationship with the Cham, the Vietnamese, and the Chinses as well.
