English summary on page 15 as follows: In 3 years, from 1993 to 1995, the Viet Nam Institute of Archaelogy had some surveys and excavations on Truong Sa Archipelago and other islands in the seacoast of Nam Bo (Cochichina). The sites of Hang Duong, Ho Sen Ben Dam, Hon Cau on Con Dao Archipelago and Bai Ngu, Bai Mun sites on Tho Chu Island might belong to an archaeological culture of the late Neolithic and early bronze age. Jar burials of Bai Dong site in Tho Chu Island (Phu Quoc Archipelago) maybe dated from the beginning of the Common era. The Great Truong Sa Island and the Nam Yet Island ( Truong Sa Archipelago) were settlements of the Vietnamese at least from the 13th century.
