Abstract: English summary on page 45 as follows: The Ha Giang culture is an archaeological one newly defined in 1989 on the basis of discoveries in Ha Giang province. In some sites located on the bank of Lo river, especially Lo Gach site (Ha Giang Town), many types polished stone tools and few potteries have been found. Among them, the stepped adzes with sharply rectangular shoulders and an angular step are typical in Cao Bang areas. Recently, similar types of stone tools have been discovered in the collections of artifacts at Binh Ca (Tuyen Quang province) and at Can Nogai (Bac Thai province). The knowledge of the Ha Giang culture increases with years. Nowadays we know that this culture distributed in Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, and Bac Thai provinces.
