In the later stage (from the 7th century to the 9th an 10th centuries) Champa buddhist statues having anthropological characteristics: big eyes, thick eyebrows, large mouths, thick lips... Buddhist statues of Champa seem to reflect powerful persons. This is one of the characteristics of Champa buddhism: the combination of God power and King power.
