English summary on page 30 as follows: Based on dating system of ancient Muong tombs, with the earliest date around the 12th to 13th centuries and the latest date around the 17th to 18th centuries, the author states that the earliest known date of ancient Muong tombs belonged to Ly dynasty. Historical ethnologists and cultural researchers, especially historical linguists have stated that the date of separation of ancient Muong people was about the 8th to the 10th centuries. From the structure and funeral style of ancient Muong tombs, the author supposed that since Ly dynasty Muong people had created their own funeral style, though it was still rather closely related to that of contemporary Viet people. This data presents a possibility that Muong people probably seperate from common Viet-Muong in the 12th to 13th centuries.
