| Abstract: |
The focal points of the study in this area of the Institute of Archaeology in the previous 25 years are techniques and technology of the ancient productions: agriculture and handicraft (in making stone, pottery, glass, metallurgy). Apart from the excavation of the ancient production area (sites, workshop, kilns . . . ), the archaeologists actively applied methods of natural sciences to the study. In the next period, it's necessary to push forward the study in this direction, but more attention should be paid to the ancient techniques in the historical period and expand the study in non-productive techniques (techniques of building, transport . . . ).
