English summary on page 47 as follows: Theo author presents an outline of the Bau Tro Culture. there are four types of site in this culture: shell middens, sand dunes, land hills and workshop sites. The author distinguishes hree egional variants of the Bau Tro Culture: the Thach Lac (or Nghe Tinh), the Bau Tro (or Binh Tri Thien) and the Minh Cam (or the Highlands). According to the author, there were two periods in the evolution of this culture: the first is the trasitional stage from the Quynh Van Culture to the Bau Tro Culture, the second is the stage of high development of this culture.
