English summary on page 24 as follws: From various data, researchers on Ceramics in Vietnam as well as in other countries have been interested in the emergence period of blue and white ceramic in Vietnam. the author presents a specimen of blue and white ceramics found at Tay Nha hamlet (Tien Duc, Hung Ha in Thai Binh province). This specimen lied in the stratum together with the models of stupa, architectual bricks, terracotta of dragon's head and banyan-shaped leaves, which have been considered as typical artifacts of Tran dynasty for a long time. Hence, the author comes to conclusion that blue and white ceramic in Vietnam came into existence in late half of the 14th century.
