Abstract: English summary on page 62 as follows: At the beginning of the Christian era. the ancient habitants of Laos reached a high stage of iron industry. They lived in group in fairly concentrated areas, were already developing a stable agricultural production and leading a relatively well-off life. The society was differentiatied and organized to a certain level of development: original mode and rites of burial, investment of labour in the production of jar, organization, of transport, arrangement... This was a prelude to the birth of a society with classes and of the state.
