English summary on page 10 as follows: on the basis of available documents, we can get a general view of the development of Neolithic culture in Viet Nam. It was a very rich and multifarious cultural entity ranging from hoa Binh - Bac Son cultures, the neolithic one in coastal areas of North Viet Nam, the Da But - Quynh Van ones and other coastal regions of Thanh Hoa -Nghe Tinh and Binh Tri Thien. The survey, however, is still limited and incomplete since we have no insight of development of Neolithic culture in South Viet Nam. However, the modelization of Neolithic culture in Viet Nam is now imperatively in the order of the day.
