Abstract: English summary on page 63 as follows: From the analysis of sample of bricks and mortar of Cham towers to strengthen and restore these towers, the authors suggest some views on the building technique of Cham towers in Vietnam. According to the authors, Cham towers had been built with baked bricks and linked together by a solution of clay being used as adhesive matter 9clay mortat). Then the whole tower was baked once again
in this second baking, the shape of the kiln and oven should have been similar to that of rower (which got several false doors and loop-holes on the top) to serve the purpose. This method of construction provided a lasting life to the towers in an area with inclement climate (rain, humidity...). The cohesion of different parts became permanent and steady.
