Abstract:	English summary on page 5 as follows: Based on the issue we may draw some following conclusions. --The improvement of grain measurement methods for calculating the roundness and spheric coefficients has allowed us to investigate extensively a great deal of samples and to save time as well as equipments. --The data obtained by this method have helped in the revealing of genesis and formation age of quarternary sediments. --For more active conttribution of this method especially to the wet tropical zone as Vietnam, the sediment - study is quite necessary, and helps perfecting this method.
