Consacrée à la préhistoire du Sud-est asiatique, cette HDR pose les bases dune épistémologie préhistorique en se fondant sur lanalyse de la technique. Elle constitue une étude du sens donné à lévolution des objets lithiques à travers le rapport complexe quils entretiennent avec dautres objets disparus, réalisés dans des matériaux périssables (bambou, bois dur, rotin, etc.). Après avoir dressé un bilan descriptif et analytique de la technique hoabinhienne en milieu tropical forestier, ce travail explore les voies techno-fonctionnelles et phénoménologiques qui permettent de penser les objets intangibles à partir de ceux en pierre taillée, qui, seuls, restent présents dans les assemblages archéologiques. Ainsi, lobjectif est dappréhender lenvers dune dialectique basée sur des outils et des armes en matière végétale à la lumière des unifaces de pierre, vestiges uniques des sites chasseurs-cueilleurs du Hoabinhien entre 40000 ans et 4000 ans B.P. Dedicated to the prehistory of Southeast Asia, this DRH puts the bases of a prehistoric epistemology on the analysis of the technique. This work establishes a study of the sense given to the evolution of lithic object through the complex relationship which they maintain with the other object as tools and weapons disappeared which realized in perishable materials as a civilisation of plant life (bamboo, hard wood, rattan, etc.). After drawn up a descriptive and analytical assessment of the technique in tropical forest environment, this work investigates the technofunctional and phenomenologic ways which allow to think of the sho1t-lived object from those, stone tool, which only stay in the archaeological assemblages. So, the objective is to arrest a dialectic based on tools and weapons made in vegetable material in the light of unifaces of stone unique vestiges of Hoabinhian hunters-gatherers site between 40000 years and 4 000 years B.P.
