| Abstract: | This paper reviews the recent research and developments of rock art studies in Southeast Asia — covering the countries of ASEAN plus East Timor — from 2015 to early 2020. In our previous review (Scott & Tan 2016) we anticipated that rock art research would flourish due to a growing interest among local archaeologists and from consequent outcomes of previous research — this has indeed been the case. Dedicated rock art sessions were scheduled in every major conference in the region. |
