Abstract: English summary on page 130 as follows: Accurately determining absolute dates of samples containing radiocarbon is a necessary task of archaeology. Recently, the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology has been equipped with a 14C - dating laboratory having world - modern facilities by the State. With the collaborate in technological exchange between the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology and the scientists of the Georgia University (USA) and the institute of Nuclear Science and Technique, The Laboratory has taken the determination of absolute dates of various samples with Raiocarbon method. The results have confirmed the effect and great potential of the method in archaeology and geology. The article also presents some basic matters of the techniques for collecting and classifying samples, of the techniques for counting, correcting the measurements and processing the data as well as some proposals to improve the effect of the application of this approach.
