English summary on page 34 as follows: The article issues the excavation of Lung Leng site at Sa binh hamlet, Sa Thay district, Kon Tum province in September and October 1999. The site is 15,000m²large in which 106m² was excavated. The cultural deposit is 2,2 m thick, rather intact, and consists of 3 layers: the surface layer, the middle layer (dated from Holocene) and the laterite layer (dated from Pleistocene). In the site, there was a fire place, 4 graves and 5 jar-burials with stone tools and pottery. In the laterite layer obtained 9 pebble tools. In the middle cultural layer, there were 862 stone artifacts, including hoes, polished axes and adzes, grinders, flakes, grinding pestle, moulds, beads, wheel-shaped pebbles with holes, along with 46,510 potsherds of pots, wases, jars, bowls... The authors suppose that Lung Leng is a settlement a workshop as a cemetery belonging to various prehistoric stages. The laterite layer belongs to Palaeolithic, the middle cultural layer is of late Neolithic - Early Metal Age and the jar-burials are of the Sa-Huynh culture. The Lung Leng is situated in the flooded bed of the Yaly lake, so it is necessary to excavate the whole site area.
