Abstract: English summary on page 53 as follows: Go Ca Soi is located in the salty water area at Ong Thinh village, Phuoc Hoa hamlet, Tan Thanh district (Ba Ria - Vung Tau prov.). This is one of the nine prehistoric sites discovered and excavated by the Centre of Archaeology of the Institute for Social Sciences in Ho Chi Minh city in February, 1998. The results from the excavation show that the cultural layer of Go Ca Soi is rather pure, 1.10cm thick, including a lot of shells. There are such stone tools as rectangular axes, grinding pestles. Pottery is hand - made with simple types and designs. This may be a difference between Go Ca Soi and other prehistoric sites in the East nam Bo and simultaneously reflects a "closed and "silent" life of the habitants in the salty water area. The date of Go Ca Soi is possible similar to Binh Da, Ben Do sites, about 3,000 years before present.
