Reviewing the discoveries and the study of ancient man and environment during the past 30 years, the article presents the summaries of achievements in the specialized work: having analyses to find out the causes of successes as well as failures in the research projects. The author also shows some proposals to renovation in the fieldwork and some opinions of developing trends in the current circumstances such as the need to extend archaeological investigations on the larger scale
combining a lot of modern measures and means in investigation and study in the laboratory. The management of the environment of the sites needs improving legislation and the participation of environmental archaeology.
