The north of Vietnam is one of the areas which have bronze the most earl in the region called Lingnan (South of the Mountains) or Nam Man and Xinanyi. The technique of metallurgy in this area has some similarities: - The earliest artifacts are made of bronze. It doesn't seem with increasing rate of tin, especially lead of high rate. - Along the Red River, there are a lot of tin, lead mines which are bases for the development of the Bronze Age Culture and bronze drums. - The technique of casting iron, creating a lot of products, chiefly hoes, was common all over the region.
