The house with 120 pillars should be called "100-pillar" house. It has an area of 882 m2. The wooden frame structure is of nha Xuyen Trinh (cross-beam house) type
the roof covered with "Yin-Yang" tiles
the floor made of stones and big bricks with Chinese hexagonal bricks on the surface. It has 5 compartments, 2 back and front additions, a large yard of 36 m2 in the middle. At the front, 5 compartments were living ones
of 5 successive compartments: 3 middle ones were for cult, the next ones and the 2 additions were for daily activities, the final one was a store. The art of wood-carvings is expresssed on the rafters, railings, partitions, flanks and wooden furnitures. The decorative motif is chiefly flowers, leaves, animals and the frame with "4 animals", "4 seasons", "8 fruits" . . . bearing Nguyen style and influenced by the western style. Based on the architecture, wooden decorative and sculptural art, it's possible to define that this house might be built in the early 20th century, about 1902 to 1903.
