The seal "Hoang De Ton than Chi bao" was made of ivory, including 4 parts: the top part is a rolling dragon with the seal body. The upper part of the seal body is rectangle (5.8 x 6.00 x 0.6 cm) engraved with 2 lines of emerged words. On the right are 9 words of the time the seal was made, on the left there are 10 words of gold carats and weight to make the seal. The seal body is a square pillar with each size 6.10 cm, painted red-lacquered. The lowest part (the surface)
sized 5.8 x 6.00 x 0.40 cm was engraved with 6 characters of "Zhuan" script in 3 lines "Hoang De Ton Than Chi bao"/ According to the author, this ivory seal was remade by King Tu Duc from the gold seal "Hoang De Ton than Chi bao" of the Minh Mang dynasty.
