Abstract:	English summary on page 17 as follows: Son La province is situated in northwest of Vietnam. The prehistory and protohistory of Son La is closely associated to the North of vietnam, in a certain relation with the south of China and upper Laos. In Son La land, it is likely to discover the vestiges of pre-human beings. There have been a lot of discoveries of sites of Paleolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age, early Iron Age in caves and in river beds with abundand collections of artifacts.
