During the 60th decennary of the 20th century I begin my archaeological field work with the re-discovery of these Hoabinhian sites which Madeleine Colani had found since the 20th decennary of this century. Her talent and especially her energy is unimaginable. The unique thing I disagrees with her is that the social natural space of the Hoabinhians is not only a "terre maudite", with dense forests and malaria, but a more or less Vast Valley area. The Hoabinhian culture is not only a cave culture. The inhabitants lived in caves, under rockshelter and also in the open air, in hilly areas, along the river (spring) side and even along the sea-side. Their ecosytems are generalized and diverse. They are gatherers, hunters, and probably proto-agricultors.
