Abstract:	The statue was carved in the sitting position of meditation, crosslegged, the hands in Dhyanamudra position. The head is covered with spiral hair bunches put together, the face is long and flat with narrow eyebrows, long, narrow eyes which are looking down a little, fairly flat bridge of nose, the mouth is smiling, the neck is short. It's probably that an Amitabha statue was offered to Khai Tuong temple by Minh Mang King several years after taking the throne.
