| Abstract: |
For the first time in our country, many intact skeletons were found in boatcoffins burials at Minh Duc in old Ha Son Binh province (Ha Tay prov. nowadays). Therefore, the study of these bone remains is very important because valuable information about the morphological and racial characteristics of late Dong Son population in Vietnam can be obtained. From skull measurements and non-metrical characters, the author states that though having some Australoid traits, the ancient people group of Minh Duc resemble closely the Indonesian racial type.
