There have been tens of archaeological sites at Tay Nguyen. They are settlements, workshops, sepulchres . . . Set of artifacts here are rather typical, including shouldered axes, jewelry grinding stone ceramic and flakes. The collection is abundant of account, old with shape forms, typical axes with "buffdoss tooth shape" earrings with three knots, highly qualified ceramic with beautiful plan of designs. These are enough to identify local characteristics as well as its relationship with other archaeological cultures in the surroundings. Archaeological sites at Tay Nguyen mountainous region in the centre formed and appeared at different times, but in general all of them belonged to late Neolithic and early Bronze Age, corresponding to the outstanding Sa Huynh culture.
