English summary on page 37 as follows: The outstanding characteristics of the collection of Ma Dong pottery were variform, full of different cultural elements, mixed with each other in the non-thick cultural layer. There were typical potteries of the Hoa Loc and Ha Long cultures beside a great number of pottery with particular characteristics of Ma Dong. These are important data to study the origins of the cultural type of Ma dong in particular and to study the problem of the history of culture and inhabitants of Early Metal Age in the area in general.
