Abstract: English summary on page 14 as follows: After many a time investigating on the spot as well as thoroughly studying stone artefacts collections from Mount Do (Thanh Hoa) and exploring a lot of archaeological sites in the area as well, the author advances some considerations: -- Supporting the Lower Palaeolithic datation for mount Do as being suggested by former scholars. Nevertheless there did exist even at Mount do a group of sites belonging to the late period of Palaeolithic. There later artefacto were found in the Southeastern mount Do (Quan Yen II, Chan). -- The Chan Tien hi'lock area. next to the southeastern foot of mount Do, affords sites of Early Metal Ages but they belong in fact to another later period in this same area. However mount Do remains for longer a spot to be deeply studied further.
