English summary on page 63 as follows: Lam Kinh was a very valuable achitectural and artistic monument of the early Le dynasty, especially in sculpture and decorative art. Lam Kinh's sculpture comprised some dragon statues along the parapet, beasts' statues made of stone, on the floor of the palace, and statues of men and animals at several tombs, like tiger, elephant, horse... The carving and engraving art at Lam Kinh was quite delicate. The technique and expression developed from rudimentary to sophisticated stage through 3 phases. The decorations at Lam Kinh mainly concentrated on the stairs and streps of the main building and stone strlae. The principal motif is dragon, firing cloud, leaves, flowers, and waves. Through the style and pattern bear the impact of imperial and palatial art, one can find elements of folk art, so close to the laboring masses.
