Abstract: English summary on page 30 as follows: Con Co Ngua is an archaeological site lying contiguously at theo mount-plain-sea area (Thanh Hoa prov). It was discovered and excavated in 1979-80. 1. Con Co Ngua provided us with quite a number of human bones and several traces of individual and group burials
with bodies in squatting position. These are most recent and varied materials for the study of the upholders and funeral customs of Da But culture. 2. Con Co ngua also supplied us with vestiges of an important settlement. Better than any other known sites of the same culture it offered a sequence between Da But and Go Trung. Materials on stratigraphy stones and ceramics confirmes the existence of a link between Da But and Go Trung. This has enabled us to realize the process of development of Da But culture at the same time allowed us to imagine the path from Hoa Binh to Da But from Da But to Quynh Van.
