English summary on page 72 as follows: 1.Tectities in Viet Nam bear also the general features of tectites, having at the same time the particular features of those distributed int he region of Asia and Australia. 2.The presence of original tectites in our territory enables us further to demarcate the Quarternary and the Neogene in the formation of quarternary sediments in Viet Nam. 3.In view of the position of the original tectites found at the exposed edges of the low area in Hanoi, where the formation time of pebbles and fragments has been established which coincides with the absolute dating a 1.6-1.8 million years.
