| Abstract: | The study suggests that the transition to a more sedentary lifestyle indicates more food did not increases fertility for the !Kung, but instead decreased fertility. Fertility patterns remained about the same for the !Kung and the Herero. The reproductive success lies in the success by reducing infant and child mortality rates to levels observed among the Herero. |
