| Abstract: | Lang Nac was discovered in 1971 and it was not until 1996 that it was known as an archaeological site characterized by flate industry similar to the one of Nguom-Mieng Ho. However, "Bacsonian marks" found here seem to show that it is an archaeological site of the Bac Son Culture. The authors' investigation in 1996 has revealed a much later Lang Nac of the Late Neolithic with cord-marked, impressed, painted pottery belonging to the Mai Pha culture. |
