The article presents the conception of sea Culture, analysing in details the model of development of the prehistoric Sea Culture in Vietnam (Figure 1). The author assumes that the early neolithic inhabitants would have known sea products through exchange, but until late neolithic the prehistoric sea culture in Vietnam appeared. Its formation was attached to the first divisions of socio-economic regions in the history. After the Bronze Age, the Sea Cultures in Vietnam developed widespreadly along the sea coast. Owing to rice-farming, metallurgy and sea-craft technique, Vietnamese seamen enhanced the interaction with one another, with inhabitants in the mountainous area and in plains creating fairly gradual development among these regions.
